After three games, how would you honestly forecast our season?

It's been dismal so far, with little to look forward to. We're now coming to the end of the window, what started as a positive and could end up being a farcical one. Getting Carvalho over the line would be uplifting briefly, but we know he's not match fit and we have a manager who sticks with favourites, something Allardyce was rightly crucified for.

I can't see any better than 14/15th. You could argue I'm knicker-wetting as we're so early into a new season, but the club is toxic top to bottom. The board make poor decisions which originally stem from indecisiveness and then shoot themselves in the foot.

The truth is, until we get genuinely ambitious owners who can spot a lame duck (Bilic), all things promised to us at the London Stadium will be pie in the sky.

Even though the rubbish board failed to invest properly in the window we do have a half decent squad, pity about the manager. If we don't change the manager in a week or two I fear relegation as apathy will spread throughout the team. A decent new manager will sort things, but it must happen very soon.

My thoughts are as follows:

Man U - I never expect a result here. But what I do expect is for the team to give a 100%. Then I can ask no more. Man U's last 2 goals were for the fact that we were pushing forward so 4-0 is not a fair reflection on the game. Still there was no passion for me.

Southampton - I attended this game with a mate who is a Saints fan and I was sitting in their end. The first goal was pretty shocking but I was pleased that we fought back. It showed good character. You cant blame the team for one man letting them down. Once you go down to 10 men it is difficult as we had to play this way for 60 minutes. We should have had a penalty as well during that game.

Newcastle - Shit. There are no excuses.

Overall we need Adrian in goal instead of Hart. Hart really lacks confidence and does not come off his line. He needs to command his box a lot more than he does. I am still not sure how Fonte is at the club. He was great for Southampton and then he joins us and I don't know what happens! Noble is a good bench player now. I think once we sought the spine out, we will be pretty solid.

These are just opinions and I am at work so cant go too much in depth!!

Outside of Zabaleta, I was pretty pleased with our summer business. That included holding on to the likes of Sakho/Carroll/Obiang (More not letting them leave than holding on to)

I genuinely think Zabaleta's legs are gone - so irrespective of whether he plays for Man City or West Ham - he's going to get skinned for pace each and every time.

We have no doubt suffered from starting with 3 away games - Man United you could write off, but Southampton away and Newcastle I would still have fancied us picking up 2-4 pts. As it stands, 3 games in, zero points with 11 conceded.

There were a few things that concerned me about the Newcastle game. Firstly the team selection was wrong - I genuinely believe that if Lanzini/Kouyate are fit enough to be on the bench - then start them. Take the game to the opposition from the off. There was not enough in that starting eleven that meant we would be comfortable enough to then give Lanzini a nice 30 mins at the end to bed him back in.

Noble and Rice in the middle of the park when Obiang and Kouyate are on the bench for me is criminal.

It's also one thing getting beaten - but as we have all seen over many many years its the manner of defeat. We were so off the pace, we weren't even second to the ball. It was absolutely pathetic. A team devoid of commitment and what looked like fitness. We can all excuse an off day - What can not be excused is the fact we didn't press the opposition - we didn't win a second ball - we didn't win a tackle. It was a disgrace.

The amount of goals we've conceded over the last two years is also unacceptable. How can you have a manager and coaches that were defenders, yet lack basic organisation and any sort of resolve? On paper, we have guys who can defend - so why is it so difficult to mould them into a cohesive unit? Defending obviously starts from the front, so the midfield can also not be missed out when criticising the unit. The players are providing zero protection for the defence - when we get attacked - the opposition pour through us with consummate ease.

I'm not generally in favour of switching managers at the first sign of trouble - but this isn't the first sign and unfortunately I feel it's time for Slaven to go - irrespective of how much I like him as a man - If I were the management, I would look at somebody like Wagner (Huddersfield), Howe, Dyche (as much as I can't stand his voice and is violently unfashionable) Jokanovic (Fulham). Part of me is so fucked off with conceding goals, I would love to see what Pulis would do! (I don't want Pulis - it just amazes me how he manages to make teams that are so difficult to beat)

On the back of this start, if we finish 10/11th - we'd have had a good season.

The start to the season has been massively underwhelming but I am not sure that my expectations of the season have changed because of three away results. I still reckon we will finish somewhere between 8th and 14th and the silly start will be forgotten come November. The danger is that the team get into a losing mentality and confidence is low and getting lower. A 3 pointer is exactly what we need to stop the rot and is overdue.

From a management perspective a decision on Bilic's future needs to happen in the immediate future, if not sooner, and that decision sung from the hilltops and blocks of flats. This is crucial in terms of direction for the club and supporters alike.

I don't mind a relegation battle, provided it is really a battle and our players make more than the half-arsed effort they have put in so far.

If the squad stays fit we might just stay up but that's a big "If" knowing our luck with injuries!!

If say Obiang and Kouyate get knocks you have no defensive type midfielders bar Noble whose legs have gone.

Same goes with other areas and I must confess I am not looking forward to the season with our defence the way it's currently playing,.

Up front Carroll will get no more than two games in a row until he gets another injury so that leaves a sulking Sakho, the waste of space Ayew and that leaves us needing Hernandez to be firing and fit all season.

I'm beginning to know how the Captain of the Titanic felt when they hit the Iceberg!!!

Its the way we are losing that concerns/depresses me, we may be fucked by Christmas, City, Chelsea, Arse, early December. If we are not mid table by then, I can't see us coming back because they won't buy any decent players in January

Sunderland in waiting. Similar setup, flattering to deceive, board who refuse to invest enough, gonna happen sooner or later.

I do believe Moyes did try and really wanted Sunderland to stay up, but as others have said I'm not so sure about Bilic. He looks like a man waiting for the sack, probably just told Sullivan he's happy with the squad for the fuck of it, asks players where they like to play, then plays them out of position anyway.

So yeah it doesn't look that great. Again it's a question of whether there are three worse teams.

Based on our astonishing deadline day deals, I'll stick with relegation as a realistic eventuality unless something seriously changes, like the manager and coaching staff.

Depends on injuries, probably up and down like last season and end up mid table with Bilic going at the end of the season triggering Lanzini, Hernández, Kouyaté and Antonio to also want to jump ship!

It is going to be another long painful season I think, we will win games, but the worrying thing is, how many will we concede against the big guns this season. We have already had a 4-0 defeat to Man Utd, what will City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton do to us this time round. If they are all heavy defeats to Nil, we will definitely be in trouble. I hope I am wrong obviously, but ten golas conceded already away from home doesn't bode well when we have those teams to play in the near future.

Lose at home to Huddersfield and we're a club in crisis and free fall.

Not even confident it won't be relegation next season as well.

I think that the board will believe that as poor as we have been so far, Bilic will get us through the season keeping us in the league. That and their stubbornness in not firing someone and having to pay up their contract will see him here until his contract is up. They'll then not renew it just like they did with Allardyce.

We'll go out and beat Huddersfield, get a point a West Brom then beat Bolton and that will be enough to convince them we'll be safe and that Bilic is doing a decent job. Repeat and repeat until we finish 14th and Mancini shows an interest in the job.
